Wake: Chris Oshea "You have to Pay to Play"
Wednesday, 21 March 2012

It seems every year I find myself with an injury that will put me out of 2 to 3 months. So injury comes with the territory and sometimes you get lucky and other time you don't. This time I'd say it could be better but could be worse.
Long story short. Last week I was winching a concrete ledge in Melbourne Australia while filming my next video part for http://livesimple.it/. The plan was to ollie onto the ledge and then get off the ledge before a big pole that was in the way. I ollied onto the ledge and my board gripped, I started to go out the front but saved it by letting go of the rope. Sliding right past the pole on the concert, thinking 'man that was almost death', still sliding into a 180 and cart wheeled. That was a enough to brake the scaphoid in my hand.
The plan from here is to get surgery on Wednesday and I should be back to the states and riding by the start of May. Like I said at the start could be worse but could be better.
You got to pay to play - Chris O'Shea.
PWC: Australian Watercross Nationals 2012
Monday, 19 March 2012
The SEA‐DOO‐YAMAHA‐KAWASAKI AUSTRALIAN WATERCROSS NATIONALS is pleased to announce that Sea‐Doo factory rider James Masterton from Sydney and owner of Sydney Sea‐Doo, 2007 Pro Stock World Champion, current Australian Pro Open runabout champion will be defending his title aboard the new 2012 Sea‐Doo RXP‐X 260.
Comments from James: “I am really looking forward to defending my number 1 plate at this years event on the Gold Coast next month. We have done quite a bit of testing on the new Sea‐Doo RXP‐X 260 and the ‘T3’ hull is amazing. Again this year, my team mate Anthony and I have opted for two different Sea‐Doo models so it should keep things interesting throughout the weekend. I am also a big fan of the new race structure being run by a private promoter and is definitely a step in the right direction in my opinion. Thanks to my sponsors: BRP Australia – Sydney Sea‐Doo – Riva Racing – Michram Industries – Hydroturf ‐ Fox – Ogio – ODI – Gopro – Spy – Skat Trak – Jetpilot."

Longest running Sea‐Doo Factory rider Gold Coast’s Anthony Antees, 2008 and 2009 World Number 2 Pro Open Runabout, 2008 Thailands Kings Cup Pro Runabout Open Champion, 7 times Australian pro open Runabout Champion is ready to compete in his home town and try to take back his number one plate from fellow Sea‐Doo team mate James Masterton. Anthony will be racing a 2012 Sea‐Doo GTI.
Anthony Antees Comments:” Well firstly it’s great to have it back on the Gold Coast where I was born and raised. It’s a great place for it as we have the highest number of registered PWC in the country and hopefully that will bring a lot of followers to what looks to be a fantastic event at the best location ever! Hopefully this year I will be claiming my title back after to handing it over to another BRP/Sea‐ Doo backed rider… It was hard after consecutively winning 7 Australian National Titles, it was something that I was getting used too but now I’m hungrier than ever!! I will be riding the new platform 2012 Sea‐Doo GTI which is a very predictable and aggressive unit which will be very competitive on the track. Thanks to all my loyal sponsors: Jsw Powersports ‐ BRP/Sea‐Doo ‐ Industry Healthclub ‐ Nutrition Warehouse ‐ JetPilot ‐ Spy for getting back out there for another year. Also thanks to geeracing for what’s going to be one BIG showdown of Aussie & international’s best riders! See you there! “
