What would you say? Hmmm? What if I introduced you to a Wakeskater by the name of Matt Rodgers who is about to put wakeskating in its rightful place? This true skater with true skater style? Huh? You’d probably ask if I knew anything about Pat Riordan and his Frankston troubles? “Yes,” I’d reply. “Its in the mag alongside James Boggia’s account on how to deal with the emotion of inujury.”  Then we’d talk in length about the Harley Clifford’s Tail KGB and Scotty Green’s 10 questions or Chris Oshea’s House and the up and coming Greg Wood. We might then turn our attention to the beautiful Kate Boissett. Then finally discuss which Vest and/or pair of Thongs we wanted after drooling over the new Wakesetter MXZ and Rip Curl’s Polarised sunglasses. Why don’t you have a look at the mag and find out?

It was a close battle, but during the dying moments of the last session Leon's Redline/Jetpilot Evo 8 ran a flyer, jumping to the lead with a 1:15.413 and edging just ahead of Daniel Currie in the Garden City Helicopters WRX. Third place went to Kat Benson in the Burger Fuel GSR, her best lap a 1:22.86.

Defy: The Danny Harf Project was recently premiered in Orlando, the movie is set to be released on itunes on the 27th December 2011 or it is available for purchase download right now. Jetpilot's Shane Bonifay is one the many riders featured in the film. Watch this trailer and it will blow your mind.

A large crowd had gathered on the shoreline by Saturday afternoon to witness the 60+ riders that took part in the Jet Pilot King of the Kicker contest, where the “one hit wonders” attempted to land their best trick from 3 attempts on the wave kicker. Highlights included a clean kgb 5 by in the Under 17 Boys division by Italian Massimiliano Piffaretti, which also won the X-Mini trick of the weekend, a “frog in a blender” by Under 13 riders Lewy Watt and all the absolutely massive tricks thrown down by the pro riders including Dean Smith. Korean Windy Park and local favourite Mark McNamara.
