Matt Mingay just finished a shoot for Beef Jerky company Geronimo Jerky and will be featuring in an ad for them in Crusty mag in the coming months, from all accounts Matt had a ball on this shoot.

The 15th Annual Supra Boats 2011 Australian Nationals supported by JetPilot is being held this weekend on the Gold Coast from Sunday 17, with finals wrapping up on Wednesday afternoon.

The event will bring the state against state, with competitors from all around Australia coming to stake their claim in all riding divisions from U9s through to Veterans. The Gold Coast Marine Stadium will host the four day wakeboard event that is open to the public and promises great riding every day.

And it wouldn't be a wakeboarding event without a party, which the Australian Nationals delivers in spades. Here is a run down of the party schedule for the event:

- Saturday April 16th Steve from Nautique Central is hosting an end of Season Party at Surfers Rowers Club. All QWA Members are welcome from 7pm including under 18's.
- Sunday April 17th Welcome drinks at Melba's on Cavill ˆ (see poster)
- Monday April 18th Social night at Dreamwold with the Flow Rider booked ˆ (contact QWA for more details)
- Tuesday April 19th Qld End of Season Presentations ˆ Saks Waterfront Bar at Marina Mirage ˆ (Meals and drinks at bar with presentations from 8.00pm. You don't need to book or eat, you can just turn up at 8.00)
- Wednesday April 20th Nationals Presentations and Dinner ˆ Southport Sharks (contact QWA for more details ˆ Bookings essential)

Riding on the Sunday kicks off from 10am with 10-14 Boys and Junior Boys divisions entertaining the crowd straight up!

Raymond Terrace hosted round 3 of the Rockstar MX nationals, the track looked pretty dry considering all the rain they had had during the week, quite a few spectators turned up to check out the action. The heat was intense out on the track claiming a few riders as they day went on.



The lites once again featured some close racing with matt Moss and brendan Harrison taking the advantage after the first two motos. Kirk Gibbs finished the first two motos with two fifths to be in a good position for the overall with two motos to go.



In the third moto Kirk had some trouble off the start crashing on the first corner but recovered to finish 10th and rounding out his day with a Fifth in the last Moto. Josh Cachia had a mixed day with a 7th in the first moto and 10th in the 2nd.



In the last two motos Josh got a 9th and 13th to finish off the day, not the day the guys were after but they still gained valuable points to keep them in the hunt for the title with Kirk sitting in 2nd and Josh in 6th overall.

Team riders James Masterton and Jon Cooke have both finished top of the field in two seperate PWC events recently. James Masterton won the premier class of the open runabouts at the Seadoo National Titles and Jon Cooke won the Australian Freestyle Championships held in Sydney. Congrats lads!
