JetPilot is proudly supporting the Supra Boats Australian Nationals Official Welcome Party on the Gold Coast at Melbas. The party will be held on Sunday 17 April as the official opening ceremony party to the four day event to be held on the Gold Coast between Sunday and Wednesday.

With free entry, $2 steaks, live music and specials for competitiors and supporters this party promises to be a good one.

What's more, families with children under 18 are welcome! The only condition is that all u18s are accompanied by an adult and they make themselves scarce by 9:30PM.

A Chris D inspired early morning swim in the Roosevelt pool, reputedly the biggest in Hollywood, washed any hangover away. We hit the streets of LA for our last day's research & found some great new spots. Unfortunately these are so secret that if we told you, we would, as they say, have to kill you.



One place we can bang on about was Voila, the inspiring energetic french jewellery designer that introduced us to dinosaur bones and badass 3cap handmade rings, so cool. Lastly stopped in to see the crew at LA Ink, we met them last year so it was good to say hi & see their new gallery there, just awesome.

The midnight flight out of LAX is about to board but when I hit that seat, sleep will come easily & the 14 hours back will be a walk in the park. We took over 1000 photos that each in itself gives off multiple ideas. We cant wait to get this stuff out of our heads & down on paper so that we can keep giving you the Jetpilot product you know & expect.

Back to LA today & we had a date with Melrose. Killer tees & awesome shop fit outs were the order of the day. The Power Plant was a favourite, with a working bike shop out the back, complete with a 40 kg blue American staffy called Killer who wanted to eat us. We kept on trucking until our feet could stand it no more, I swear we looked in every store within a 10 block radius, even looked at an African American barber/grafitti supply shop with the boys getting slick haircuts ready for a night painting walls & a crazy shoe shop with guys breaking in the middle of the store.




We were done so went to check in at our favourite LA hotel The Roosevelt on Hollywood Boulevard. Just checking in with the stunners at the front desk is worth a nights accommodation. We didn't stop to drool for long as we had The Stinking Rose on our mind. This is an all garlic restaurant in Beverly Hills that never disappoints.



We made it back to Library Bar at the Roosevelt just in time for our good friend Matt to start doing some cocktail experiments on us. If your in town you need to visit this place & when you do ask for an LA Woman. It was a concoction he & Loni came up with after a lot of trialing & named in honour of its co-creator.

Today we went down to Huntington Pier were it was firing, plenty of wedgy peaks all down the coast. Saw loads of crew rolling JP wetty's, the Chamber seems to be a favourite. Lots to look at down there, in fact a little too much, came back to find a parking ticket. The afternoon was all about a great outdoor mall that really comes alive into the night. We walked our feet off combing that place but were pumped on the ideas that were flowing.




Dined in at Red Robin, a gourmet burger chain with 16 oz beers on offer. We were tired but not ready to call it, so we had some beers in the hotel bar, that somehow lead us to Patsy's Irish Bar where we heard some atrocious karaoke, got a marriage proposal & a free Harley Davidson knock off tank from a particularly sketchy local. "Inland F#@*ing Empire" mean anything to anyone?
